Latitude and longitude can be represented in three primary formats:
- degrees (DD.XXXX)
- degrees and minutes (DD MM.XXXX)
- degrees, minutes, and seconds (DD MM SS.XXXX)
Additionally, each of these formats may be written numerically, using positive and negative numbers to indicate in which hemispheres the coordinates lie, or using letters to designate the hemispheres explicitly.
Different software programs prefer different formats; I thought it would be nice to have a way to quickly convert from any format to any format. Hence this page.

Simply enter the latitude and longitude you wish to see alternate formats for in the box above and hit "convert". The parser is fairly forgiving, so don't worry too much about the input format as long as it's a valid latitude and longitude.
